For the third time in the past three months, a Houston Police Department officer is accused of breaking the law, Family Assault.

The Houston Police officer has been charged with misdemeanor assault of a family member stemming from an incident that occurred Nov. 4. According to reports, police officials responded to a call at a home on Aldine Westfield when a woman flagged them down.

According to police, the female appeared to be visibly shaken and crying, wearing a light blue blouse with a torn sleeve on the right shoulder and was barefoot. The woman claimed her boyfriend of six months, had assaulted her. The woman also told deputies she was five months pregnant.

The deputies called for an ambulance. Upon examination, emergency personnel advised the woman to be taken to the hospital. The woman declined.

The woman told deputies in a subsequent interview that his police officer boyfriend had grabbed her cellphone to look through her messages.

She said he observed she has been texting her ex-husband which upset him.

The accused police officer allegedly threw the phone into the kitchen, causing it to break. He then threw her clothing on the living room floor while telling the woman to leave his apartment. Once outside the apartment, the woman claims the accused boyfriend grabbed her from behind by the stomach and “forcibly took her back inside the apartment.

The woman was able to leave the apartment a second time. Her boyfriend allegedly followed her outside again and grabbed her right arm in an attempt to bring her inside. When the woman refused once again, her boyfriend tried picking her up, causing her right sleeve to tear.

An Assault Was Charged To A Houston Rapper For Beating His Girlfriend

Assault charges are definitely no joke. Even authorities can be accused of assault and could be charged and sentenced depending on the degree of their deeds.

A Houston rapper wasn’t indicted on felony charges involving the alleged beating of his ex-girlfriend but DA refiled with a misdemeanor assault charge, according to reports.

According to reports, the rapper was charged with assault on a family member, a Class A misdemeanor.

The rapper was originally charged with aggravated assault of a family member after he allegedly beat his girlfriend in his apartment while holding a pistol. His girlfriend had an audio recording of the alleged incident, though the rapper’s attorney, said that there were huge inconsistencies between the recording and the written statement that the girlfriend gave to police and that’s likely why the grand jury exonerated him.

Another Family Assault Is Charged To A Houston Man

A Houston man who was already out on bond for a family assault charge from earlier this month – is now facing one count of assault on a family member and one count of violating a protective order. Meanwhile, the man is still in the hospital recovering from his stab wounds and is expected to face charges upon his release.

The problems started hours before the stabbing when a Houston woman – fearful her ex would return and cause trouble after allegedly assaulting her earlier in the evening – asked a friend to stay with her.

The man came over to stay at the woman’s home, and the woman later told the man could stop by to get his belongings.

But once he showed up, the woman later told the police, the accused man assaulted her again, then followed her inside. After causing a disturbance in the home, just after 11 p.m., the accused man left.

Her cousin allegedly followed him outside with a pair of nunchucks, and the two started brawling. Her cousin allegedly hit the man with the nunchucks, and the man responded by stabbing her cousin in the back of the head, arm, and hand, according to police.

First responders flew the man to a Houston hospital where he is in stable condition. Prosecutors agreed to charge him with aggravated assault, and he’ll be arrested after his release.
